The Clipper Group Announces Alliance With Wilson Trucking
CHARLESTON, S.C., Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- CaroTrans International, a unit of the Clipper Group, announced today they have agreed to a strategic alliance from the U.S. Southeastern region to Puerto Rico with Wilson Trucking in Fishersville, VA.
The alliance is designed to offer Wilson Trucking and CaroTrans International customers a one (1) carrier service to/from shipper's door in the U.S. to/from the consignee's door in Puerto Rico. Wilson Trucking and CaroTrans will jointly market this service in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
Wilson Trucking Company is a 71-year-old southeastern regional carrier with unparalleled service and has a work force of 1,200 highly dedicated employees. They are recognized as one of the Southeast's premier service carriers, with an extensive network of thirty-one (31) terminals.
CaroTrans International is one of the oldest consolidators to Puerto Rico, serving the islands for some 16 years. CaroTrans operates its own facility in San Juan and has a staff of long-term, dedicated employees. The CaroTrans facility is in the highly secured Free Trade Zone in San Juan.
