Patricia,

Do you think that my post #8383 contains reasonable questions to ask?
exchange2000.com

I think people on this thread who think they know TPRO's business well are wrong. I read conflicting posts, some said that TPRO is in the business of Y2K assessment, some said they are in the business of Y2K remediation, some said they make money selling CDs, nobody knows for sure if they will replace the whole system or fix the code inside the embedded systems. Nobody knows their methodology. All what people said to me is to read the research thread. I read the research thread and just saw a bunch of copy and paste articles, nothing original, and all the hypes from the mouth of the company. I will post later tonight my comments regarding TPRO's latest conference call. It's confusing at best. A lot of hand wavings, nothing concrete. Normally, companies shouldn't preannounce any talk with customers until the contracts are signed. Preannouncing is like giving out insider info to the competition. When I see that kind of hand waving from management, normally it's a bad sign. Real companies never let their competition knows what they are up to.

On the mainframe side of code remediation, I saw some very informative posts by mainframe experts such as Paul, Ted, Jeff and a few others explaining about the code remediation methodology. On the embedded systems side, I saw a lot of hand wavings. That's very uncomforting.

Check my post #8383 and see how much can you answer to my questions. Don't point me to the research site. I need some simple, clear explanations for a dumb demolition engineer.

Mike.
