Yes, Mephisto, I think they may call the baby Helen. There was quite a rollicking discussion about such a name right here about a month ago. But I'm not sure that the decision is final.

I know that when I was eight months pregnant, I required almost round-the-clock amusements from my dear husband, just to distract me from the upcoming terror of labor. We went to a different restaurant every night, followed each time by a different movie (this would be hard to do in a smaller town). So perhaps Alex is simply busy amusing Loving Spouse.

Let's send him our very best wishes (ommmmmmmmmmm), and hope they are both well and happy.

P.S. I couldn't get the url to work. What is behind it, anyway?
