Does this scenario sound familiar? "...Don Baxter's Alabama Graphite Corp. ( CSPG), unchanged at 13 cents on 748,000 shares, is increasing its proposed private placement. The company is now offering 7.33 million shares at 15 cents, for $1.1-million. When the company launched the placement last week, it was seeking $750,000. Alabama Graphite did not say what prompted the "upsized offering" but it did say that "certain insiders of the company have indicated their support for the private placement." (Their support would be but lukewarm if one or more of them are gypsy swapping some of their shares to cover the cost of the new stock.)..."
