Yousef - Re: AMD's K6 0.25 micron - Made at Sunnyvale SDC

What do you make of this?

"The initial shipments, which were fabricated in the company's Submicron Development Center (SDC), included both 266- and 233-megahertz versions of the product. "

AMD is producing the 0.25 micron parts from their Submicron Development Center!

Are they having trouble transfering this process to a production fab?
