Frank - the point I was making was that any target outside Ashton that progresses to confirmed kimberlite sort of opens this up a bit bringing even more attention to Ashton who would likely jump in pretty quick if there was an indication of significant findings.

The possibility that some of these targets are kimberlite is likely a lot higher than the possibility that the manny gossans around Voiseys Bay would come up with any significant copper/nickel.

If Ashton has 70 plus targets and there are a bunch outside thier holdings, we could have quite a very large number of targets in all. What this could mean is that noone will be packing their bags to go home soon in this hunt, and since just about every other metal commodity is heading for the doghouse, there will be an increased attention paid to this area.

We had a time like this back in early 1995 when the whole junior resource sector took to the doghouse the previous April 1994. There wasn't even much trading on most stocks for the rest of 1994 and into early 1995. Then Mountain Province found lots of diamonds in one of their first pipes, and I had several closeology companies doing doubles and triples one Friday afternoon, twas pretty exciting.

I sense that the Alberta hunt is progressing a lot faster than the NWT probably because it is more accessible, less costly, and the targets are more easily found by airborne geophysics. In the NWT is was cold and dark, lonely, and very expensive, plus not easy to find a good target.

Do you have any good contacts who know how close Montello is to drilling? Ashton indicated before Xmas they would not release anything until the new year. Any rumours now on when?
