Greetings All.

Happy New Year and all that guff.

Word has it that the Thor Lake permit application process has been significantly delayed as a result of HWD submitting all the previous(therefore old, late 1980's) documentation regarding the property. The regulatory agencies have rejected the application and requested that the company submit new documentation with up to date information.

Now, whether that just means changing the dates on all the documents or doing comprehensive current baseline environmental studies, we don't yet know.

IMHO this stock is a hold and accumulate whenever the price dips. Why?

The Thor Lake project in itself represents some tremendous upside potential, and if anyone can short circut the current berillium market monopoly and create a new market (China) for the Thor Lake deposit, then Peggy Witte of Royal Oak can. That is the significance of the Royal Oak position in HWD. The new market is the key as the current global suppliers of berrilium not only have the only sources under their control but also the only processing plant. (Berillium is also a very tricky and dangerous mineral to handle and process.) The fact that a permit application is in process is very encouraging and it is expected that we will quite likely see the bulk sample extracted this summer.

So hang in there, even if it doesn't seem very exciting, this is one to stick at the back of the closet and wait for several months. Monitor and accumulate when prices are favorable.

Regards,
L8er,
TAZ
