Since the nicotine patches have been in existence (1991, I believe), it has been common practice to prescribe antihypertensives and antidepressants in nicotine patch-based smoking-cessation programs. This is nothing new.

For reasons of which you are now aware, I would strongly advise anyone considering using nicotine patches of any brand to be under the supervision of a physician, even though the nicotine patches are now available on an over-the-counter basis.

So, Christine, what else is on the menu for this evening?
