i caution another important difference, that

whatever the payback, as long as there is a payback, productive investment is collateral-value accretive

and as long as debt funded out of past savings, the future is not mortgaged

but, yes, debt is building, will likely build some more

in the mean time the leadership do try to do this and that, to try to manage, and most important, they know, and acknowledge and caution against debt-build
