Good news after market closed on 01/06/98 : North Face Sees Spring/Summer 1998 Pre-Season Orders Up 25% Dow Jones Newswires SAN LEANDRO, Calif. -- North Face Inc. (TNFI) said total advance wholesale orders for the spring/summer 1998 season are up 25% from advance orders for the year-ago season. In a press release Tuesday, North Face said the strongest categories include its Tekware synthetic sportwear collection, as well as outerwear, equipment and women's products. North Face, which makes outdoor apparel and equipment, reported advance wholesale orders of $87.9 million for fall 1997.
