Uh, no, it wasn't liberal I was thinking about. Actually, it was racist. I don't really like to think of myself as being one, but I personally believe everybody is a little bit racist. Otherwise, why would people keep their windows rolled up and doors locked when traveling in some parts of larger cities? No, don't tell . . . crime, right? Well, that may be what they'd like to think, but does that thinking apply to all parts of crime pockets, or just those where certain segments of racial difference persist. Got plenty more where that came from.
We have a craft fair near the area which is huge. One of the drivers who delivers to our business was wondering about it because he was recently new to the route. He lives in Little Rock. I told him if there was going to be a problem getting a room for his regularly scheduled layover, to give me a shout. We had plenty of room in our home to accomidate him for the night. BTW, don't let me forget to mention, he is Afro-American. He didn't need the room as it turned out, but then that really isn't the point. Any of you(whoever happens to read this post) non-racists care to tell me the last time you offered to put somebody up in your home who was of a different race and you knew little about?
