Not really. It does look bad. Trump reportedly firing Comey for focusing too much on Russian conspiracy theories.

Even if said investigations prove to be fruitless, it's not right for Trump to interfere like this.

But like I said before, Trump doesn't give a F about what looks bad. Trump doing Trump things, and damn the political consequences.
