Trump is just telling us he didn't need Rosenstein to tell him that Comey was a loose cannon

IMO he waited this long because he didn't have a Attorney General nor a Deputy Attorney General in place to go forward. Rosenstein was confirmed 2 weeks ago, 2 weeks later Comey was fired. No coincidence.
