Interesting thread ...

Ryplazim.... is working for sure

A- I would assume that this is the drug that many of us are currently trialing that is made by Prometic?

B- My daughter is 17 and participating in the trial. She has done wonderfully. There are quite a few trial participants in this group. I was very worried about this drug when it first started being trialed and now am just excited to get it approved. It is working miracles.

C- I feel like the trial gave my daughter her life back and a future.

B- I won't say any names because many of us have gotten to know each other, but there seriously is a miracle in the works. To date, there have been no pregnancies recorded in any woman with Plasminogen deficiency..... but that has changed because of this!!! Praying everything goes well for this person. How miraculous and the hope it brings our girls in here is unimaginable!! Such excitement.

D- I'm not exaggerating when I say that within a matter of hours after her first infusion I could literally see a change in the size of the lesion on her bottom eyelid. I bawled my eyes out .

' E- This drug saved my daughter's life! Within 3 days of being on the plasminogen, the lesions in her lungs/airways were resolved enough that she was breathing normal again. We didn't have to stay in ICU because of her quick response to the plasminogen!!

She is now taking it every 3 days, and she hasn't had any recurring lesions (that we know of). I cannot say enough great things about this drug and ProMetic. They have gone above and beyond to make sure that (she) has received treatment.

On a side note, (she) is probably the amendment that you see. She was too young for the original parameters of the study, so I think that's what they amended (or allowing her in after the trial started).'
