I find it interesting that in recent weeks I have been hearing commentary on Japan being the best place in the world to invest your money.

This seems odd to me a person who spent a great deal of time in Japan during their bubble years and saw how Sony went from being the Apple of its day to almost a mockery of it once prominence in the world of entertainment and electronics. Toshiba one of Japan's biggest industrial companies possibly considering bankruptcy, a lot of negative talk about outlook for automobile sales and on top of all of this, Japan also having the largest debt to GDP load in the world.

Again what am I missing?
