Jeff, According to Zack's report (updated 1/05/98), GDT earnings due February 3, although they have been known to announce a few days before expected... I think growth rate factor is more a concern for AVE than for Guidant. AVE's products are more limited to stents and delivery systems, whereas GDT has a broader product offering. Today AVE seemed to reverse at about the 50 support level established in mid-November. Hopefully, all the damage has already been done and it will climb from here. I sold my position in early December because I was nervous about late approval notification and some other negative things I heard in the rumor mill. Thinking about getting back in at these levels but will probably wait a while...too much is tied up in other trades. Happy New Year, B4
