Ah there you go with inaccurate quoting. Comey was asked whether anyone IN THE ATTORNEY GENERAL's office had tried to stop the investigations.

But there's something more important here. Even if Comey testified incorrectly in May, that doesn't help Trump any. Obstruction of justice is bad even if Comey didn't report it.
