The Republicans HAVE a platform? That's news to me!!! It seems like the last few years, the Republican party has been very much split into factions, with the right leading them away from the center as fast as possible, and a lot of rebellion and feet dragging against that by moderates who are afraid the conservatives will scare many people into the arms of the Democrats. It almost seems like rather than a staunch two-party system, people are voting lately based on whether the candidates represent their respective liberal, centrist, or conservative philosophies.
Hey, what on earth is Billy complaining about, anyway? That beach shot of him dancing with Hillary is the only evidence I have ever seen that there is a real presidential marriage (unless they were actually, very cleverly, faking it, a la the new movie Wag the Dog). More frequently, we hear reports of very nasty words being shouted about as lamps are thrown. Sure, everyone looks a little flabby, but they were touching and everything!!! Very romantic!!
I saw a talk show with the alleged long-term mistress, Gennifer Flowers, a few weeks ago, and she reminded everyone that Bill and Hillary had only been married eighteen months when the affair started, and the Bill called Hillary "Hilla the Hun" and felt sexually frustrated.
