DD on small caps is seriously hampered by the lack of objective information. Filings are so controlled by the company and so little of what we can obtain can be verified externally that we are at the mercy of the insiders. The lack of coverage from professionals leaves all of us grasping at the available bits and pieces of information. Face it if Microsoft had issued Palermo's March 97 release that all was well just before they filed the Reg D's, the market would have killed them. For Q it was just one more gap between the "public" information and the reality of the poor management that never figured out that there are limits on how much money you can spend when you aren't making any.
