Two of the Most Irritating Globetrotting Global Warmists
There may be no hypocrite more irritating than the globetrotting global warmist — and, other than Al Gore himself, no globetrotting global warmist more irritating than Tinseltown twerp Leonardo DiCaprio, who last year proclaimed that those who won’t pay lip service to the hoax should be barred from public office:
“If you don’t believe in climate change, you don’t believe in facts, and science and empirical truths. In my humble opinion, [you] should not be allowed to hold public office.”
DiCrapio’s opinions, like his carbon-spewing conspicuous consumption, are anything but humble.
Hold on, we may have found a globetrotting global warmist more irritating still:
Obama and his wife Michelle are in Italy this week on vacation, after the former President spoke to the Institute for International Political Studies in Milan on the importance of addressing climate change, to preserve the world’s food supply and protect its underprivileged. …
On Friday, the Obamas jetted into Tuscany on a private – not a commercial – plane, escorted into a small Florentine airport by six additional military jets, according to Italian state television. …
Once on the ground, the Obamas slipped into a black SUV and drove to the private Tuscan villa, Borgo Finocchieto, where they’ll be staying in all week, escorted by a 13-car motorcade. …
In just his trip back and forth to Italy, for his presentation and his vacation, Barack Obama has emitted more than 16 metric tons of carbon – just shy of what an average American emits in a year.
Meanwhile,
Last week, Obama implored those same Americans – and their compatriots across Europe – to cut down on their carbon emissions in order to draw global warming to a standstill.
Maybe DiCrapio’s idea isn’t as moronic as it seems. Obama clearly doesn’t believe in the global warming swill he is paid so lavishly to regurgitate, or he wouldn’t imperil the planet with such a Godzilla-sized carbon footprint. If he had been barred from public office as a climate denier, that would have spared us the $9 trillion he added to the national debt with his wasteful spending.
