Mixed signals result in mixed opinions. When the US dollar and Stock market "corrects", then the waders will be handy. Until then, the argument continues in/deflation. But I agree with you. However, will the Fed allow the scenario, or will they avoid deflation by massively printing money or lowering interest rates? Japan is reportedly keeping its printing presses working overtime now.

IMO, the only thing more worrisome for the Feds than inflation is deflation. Either way, seems like gold is the poor orphan, unless of course something more than a correction occurs.
