The new owner of the HP Z420 updated the video card from the modest AMD RX 480 8gb, to a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 8gb. The previous high novabench score was 1970 under ideal conditions. Just for fun I ran a novabench after installing the new card with a new score of 2181! There was some junk running in the background so perhaps 2200+ is doable under ideal conditions. While it hasn't been put under sustained stress yet, everything installed and tested ok using the existing 600W psu.
