To get the stuff in distribution is really about an OS that recognizes the traffic. For example the Microsoft clustering stuff will only come from manufacturers for awhile, however clustering software from Novell will probably move through their channel much easier because the channel is used to configuration and support. I think that in 1998 you'll be able to buy a HBA and Hub in a box with S/W as a pasckage.

Then installing it is either up to a reseller or you. It's actually not as tuff as you'd think. The really difficult part comes in switching fabrics, Brocade had an entire group responsible for integration and testing.
