Interesting comparison. Since republicans tend to gravitate toward "strong" father figures and obedience, it kind of makes sense there's be more chance for child abuse. Child abuse and molestation rely on a victim who feels the abuser is powerful, and cannot be disobeyed- that's why it's so perfect for private schools and the Catholic church. It's why it also fits a culture that praises obedience and conformity- not exactly liberal strong suits.

But hey, maybe you can find some numbers that work for you. A brief tiptoe through the political pervert and pedo files make it look like republicans win that sweepstakes.
