Hi Richard, I have asked around and Goldman Sachs has a Mephistophelesian playbook that is there go to guide on how to maneuver in murky yet vastly profitable situations such as Venezuelen Government debt selling for 30 cents on the dollar that the incoming government will quite likely repudiate and default upon..... of course, the Russians already are expanding their financial ownership of Citgo and the other meaningful assets of the country......... Goldman is prescient enough to keep Mephistopheles on a long term profit sharing retainer. GS also has Old Scratch himself.... living up in the penthouse of the Goldman Sachs building..... Old Scratch also favors the subway to get around Manhattan....as it keeps him close to home... much as Al Pacino's character did in the 1997 movie "The Devil's Advocate" -g- JJP
