Obama had nothing to do with the decline of coal. It had everything to do with natural gas becoming cheaper. And now that both solar and wind are cheaper than coal, well... So, what do you think should be done? Subsidize coal? Make fracking illegal? Heavily tax wind and solar? Set quotas on China and India requiring they buy some minimum amount of coal? Because that is the biggest hit to coal, China and India don't buy much any more. If you had more than superficial knowledge of the energy industry, you would know that. But...
