Could anyone who understands the technical side of the stock market explain the short side. The huge short interest in Cymi confuses me. Its very obvious that Mr universe and the likes have made a bundle here, but is it still paper profits? It would seem logical for the shorts to cover now, take their huge profits and look for other higher priced stocks to jump on, especially in this rapidly sinking market (as I post Nasd down 21.36). It just seems there are better stocks to short right now but there seems to be no covering of Cymi yet. I bet if every Cymi stock holder ordered delivery of their Cymi stock certificates it would shake up the Cymi shorts. Think of it. It would be like us saying to the shorts, ok, we want the stock that you have borrowed (really at no cost, if they have suitable cash balances) from us, delivered back to us. Any thoughts?
