No, it doesn't. Coal is still generating 90 twh and will continue to do so for some time. Coal is going to have a greater role in China going forward, with China continuing to build a coal fired plant a week through 2020 --hence. adding 1200 new coal-fired plants between now and then.

Diversity of sources is important. You don't want to be in the position of relying totally on coal or natural gas, but to split your capability among the various sources. And we will continue to do that for a long time.

Coal continues to an excellent source of energy and it is not going to just sit in the ground as long as someone can use it and there is money to be made.

That's right. That must be why Clinton got the coal miner vote.
