People will move to Oracle 8 when more and more better, more powerful tools and application products are immplemented on Oracle8. People always want better tools and new features in application products. Oracle Applications 10.7 (including Oracle Financials) is the final release for Oracle7. If users want to upgrade for new features, they have to use Oracle8.
