"Would you rather be one of those paying the taxes, or one of those living in a box ?"
I would rather be the one paying the taxes, without being demonized by those that pay a whole whopping $300, or my Liberal Neighbor who bought a $80,000 corvette last year, but bragged that his fair share to the US Treasury was $0 in 2016.

"“MYTH BUSTER: I, an undocumented immigrant, just filed my taxes and PAID $300 to the state of Arizona. I cannot receive financial aid from the state or federal government for school, I cannot benefit from unemployment, a reduced healthcare plan, or a retirement fund. I think I’m a pretty good citizen. Oh and there are MILLIONS just like me who pay into a system they will never receive anything from. Wanna tell me again how I should be deported, contribute nothing and only leech off this country while the 1% wealthiest people in this country steal from you everyday?"
Well sweetie.. Last year I was definitely a 1% here in California, and here is a Mythbuster for you.
My everyday driver is a 2007 Nissan Titan. With manual door locks and crank windows. I doubt the car you drive lacks these "luxury's" My wife drives a 1999 Nissan Pathfinder. (with power windows and door locks)
I live in the same house that we purchased in 1985 for $190,000
I work seven days a week, 12 hours a day in order to provide my employees no cost health and dental insurance. Six month paid maternity leave, and many other benefits that enrich their and their families lives.
So while I am sure we all appreciate your whole $300, please note that I paid more in Federal Income Taxes last year than you will probably PAY IN YOUR LIFETIME.
So please, please, please. Don't lecture and demonize me on how I steal from you everyday.
By the way Sweetie.. You claim you pay into a system that you will never receive anything from. Well, I hate to tell you this, but the average cost of a public education is about 12K a year. So if we assume you spent 12 years on our Education system.. Then that is about 150K that has been applied for your betterment. So at $300 a year. We are going to need another 500 years of work from you to break-even.
