Large protest this past Saturday against Miller Project

Turns out the Miller Property sits at the top of an aquifer that provides water to three separate municipalities. The amount of opposition seems to be growing based on this new concern, as the locals feel that their health will be impacted by the mining operations.

Would be very surprising if the province gives the green light to go ahead when the hydrological studies have proven that there would be a negative impact on the water access of 20,000 plus people

If any of you are from Québec, you would know how quickly the MERN and QLP can be swayed. The MRC Argenteuil (and other regional governments in QC) are substantially more environmental than pro-business.

Anyone who tells you that CCB is "on the cusp" of starting production or any other nonsense about how this is moving forward and is a sure thing, is deceiving you, and probably has no understanding of how politics or government works anywhere East of Moose Jaw.
