You're right! News coverage in Canada's second and fifth largest cities featuring concerned citizens opposing a mine for reasons of health and safety never pose any risks for a mining company.

Plus the fact that a large number of local dairy farmers are involved probably is no big deal either. It's not like the dairy industry has any political sway whatsoever in QC or elsewhere in Canada.

After all, Maxime Bernier took an anti-dairy stance and he clearly won over QC and the rest of Canada bigtime.

I bet CCB will start mining by this summer. I got a great feeling from Alberta that I'm pretty sure how Quebec municipal and provincial politics works. CCB is a home run and will 100% be greenlit because Quebec is renowned for putting business ahead of social causes.

Plus, don't these folks realize how solvent CCB is? They could afford any and all legal delays that are thrown their way, because CCB has a tonne of money to spend on lawyers to and from rural Quebec. These folks don't stand a chance because CCB can and will afford a protracted legal battle with 3 municipalities.

So yea...they're probably 2-3 days away from production. It's not like they have many more major hurdles to get through before even coming close to starting. I bet there will be cash flow within a month, two tops. Everything is smooth sailing ahead and they are guaranteed to be approved because clearly there is social support that would easily convince all remaining regulatory bodies.
