I just did a quick test. Firefox took about 10 secs to load Nasdaq and Edge took about 12 secs. I suspect it is not Firefox. On another site they both took about 7 secs.

Speedtest shows 14Mbps on FF and 165Mbps on Edge.

Maybe it is the servers at the sites that are overloaded.
