I saw last night that Mike Chen posted yesterday's IBD article regarding Y2K stocks. (Thanks, Mike!) It is frustrating that TPRO is seldom included in published Y2K articles, particularly in light of the recent BMY contract announcement. I understand everyone's concern about the IR/PR issue, and maybe this is one more example of the weakness in this area. The old saying goes that God helps those who help themselves, so I fired off an email to Nancy Gondo, the author of the IBD article. To make it short and sweet, I applauded Nancy for helping to inform the public about Y2K, in light of the potential global impact which looms. I suggested that IBD might wish to consider a series of articles on the subject, as a public service. And, of course, I informed her about the embedded chip dilemma which is being addressed by NONE of the "tool providers" mentioned in her article. I referred her to TPRO and particularly to the research thread right here on SI.
