So you're claiming that essential the protest against the mine was fake. Most people were there to protest Mayor Saywell on a completely unrelated issue, and the remainder were either paid to be there or there because they're friends with Le Gris and having nothing better to do.
All in all, nobody was actually there to protest the mine. And your proof is their signs? It seems like a lot of people were there without signs at all. I guess they were just out for a walk at the same time as the protest and not involved. There was no protest. It was all staged/fake/for a reasons completely unrelated to the mine.
Once again....seriously?? That's the best story you can concoct? You might as well have included James Bond and Santa's Elves.
Of those 92 protestors, we know of about 24 that do not live in GSLR or MRC and are semi-profesional protestors that protest for protest sake
The problem with saying specific things like this is everyone knows you weren't counting heads or taking names and addresses there. How could you possibly have this information? Were you counting heads and getting people to register? Gimme a break. So "We" don't know anything, you most among us
If you read some of the signs carried by protestors near the tractors they were NOT mine signs.
There are also in the pictures that only say "Save our water" - I guess in your world, they weren't there to protest the mine either. Probably just there to protest a completely unrelated water issue. Amazing how efficient GslR is! They hold all their protests simultaneously....I guess that way they can save money on the paid rabble rousers they trucked in from Hawkesbury. Group rates!
It would be sad if it weren't so amusing that the delusions and easily disproven facts that people concoct just to comfort them as they realize that they made a dubious investment on a dubious project. I guess dubious facts and arguments fit in here too.
For someone who lives in Alberta and likely has a limited understanding of Quebec, GSLR, and the French language in general, your air of being knowledgeable and having the inside scoop is rather amusing as well. Especially as you seem to think/suggest that the MRC Argenteuil (regional government) is the same as GSLR, and that they meet at the same time (in this case March 14).
Naturally, they are not the same government, and there has been no MRC approval of the mine.
And once again you make claims that are easily disproven by 2 seconds of basic internet competence
2017-03-071 Identification of areas deemed incompatible with mining The City Council acknowledges the filing of a letter dated March 3, 2017, Addressed to MRC d'Argenteuil to the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Pierre Arcand, in response to a motion, in the form of a resolution, which he The municipality of Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, with regard to the identification of On its territory considered to be incompatible with the mining activity.
And the only approval has been for a small portion of land off the Kilmar Road
That the council of the MRC Argenteuil approve the said application for authorization to the CPTAQ to authorize several transactions on certain sections of an excess right-of-way to a width of 30 m, in order to regularize certain securities of property following alterations to the Kilmar Road route and to use for purposes other than agriculture, to add a residential easement for residential purposes, and to enlarge a residential site on lot P-188 rang IV of the Township of Grenville, in the municipality of Grenville sur la rouge.
Perhaps you would be more convincing if you actually posted proof of the things you said happened, instead of simply asserting them in a incompetent manner.
This level of mental gymnastics is not indicative of a project that is healthy or an investor who is certain of its future (despite the frantic, bombastic tales of fake protestors, phony headcounts, and studies and approvals that do not exist. |
