SE Fresno Gun Battle Leaves 3 Dead Posted on June 6, 2017 FRESNO, CA (KMJ) A gun battle inside a Southeast Fresno home on Tuesday left three men dead and another wounded. Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer says two armed African American males entered a home on Hammond Ave, possibly to rob the residents. That’s when a 30 year old Asian male came out of a bedroom and opened fire with an AR-15. The two black males were killed. A 60 year old resident of home also died. The resident armed with the AR-15 was wounded. Chief Dyer says the area around Hammond and Olive Ave. will be shut down for several hours as the investigation continues.
