The real world: According to CorkyCCB releases an update yesterday that it has not yet completed feasibility studies on its project, and will post environmental. Uses all kinds of language that indicates that Miller is no where near production (despite the claim months ago that it would be ready in April and then May) Miller is not the mine, Miller is the quarry and the mine. Miller Quarry is scheduled to start this summer, Miller Mine not till next year. If you are going to read and be critical at least comprehend the difference.
...as we continue to assess options..-fill drilling will be performed in areas where past drill sample density supported only inferred graphite resources ...this summer's drill program. (doesn't sound like an operation mine to me)Canada Carbon has established a dedicated page on its website to host final environmental and other assessment reports, which will be updated as new information becomes available This is again, because you do not know or understand or able to comprehend the difference between the Quarry and the Mine. Try to do some reading.
...will provide periodic updates via newspaper ads and flyers delivered to GSLR residents, and will hold further public meetings from time to time as the results of the Project feasibility study are made public and the quarry and mine permit applications are considered. So apparently "on the cusp" means "not yet consulted with the public or completed feasibility studies or many other studies that are required to get approval to mine, and could easily and likely derail the whole project. Again, I was rather hoping for someone more informed to debate with. Feasibility studies refer to the mine, you do not need feasibility studies for the Quarry. So yes we are on the CUSP of a Quarry and about 7 months away from mine startup.
OH, and not to mention - they just declared a nature reserve right around them mine area. I bet that this will have no impact in this project at all. After all, mines are built in/next to declared nature reserves all the time! Declaring a Nature reserve, or a park or a rec area etc etc, requires 2 things, surface and subsurface rights and ownership. These are privately owned lands and whomever you say has declared a nature reserve has done so outside of CCB Claims.

Nice try this is in Montebello where they purchased private land to make the Nature Reserve. Watch what you say, you are bordering on blatant lies about what is happening. You say you are from GSLR How far is Montebello from you because thats where the Nature Reserve is 34 kilometers away. It will have no impact on land in GSLR. Your comment makes it sound like we are right next door. Again I suggest you be more specific if you are critical. Because being over 25miles away from a Nature Reserve, means nothing
I quote "A 6,000-hectare corridor, the equivalent of 6,000 soccer fields, will be protected on the Kenauk Reserve, near Montebello. The private Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC), which works to protect Canada's biodiversity, is behind this project announced on Monday. The acquisition of land at Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours, made possible by the financial participation of the federal government and several private donors, is approximately $ 7.5 million. This announcement is particularly pleasing to the scientific community. "For us, it's a great laboratory," said Christian Messier, scientific director of the Institute of Temperate Forest Science in Ripon. "
But yeah...."On the CUSP of supplying China via production starting this summer"....what a fantastic (although sad and delusion) imagination these CCBers have Again, you do not know the difference between a Quarry and a Mine, do you? |
