From what Steve is seeing, i.e more than one process, he is already running Multi-Process FF. From what Ron is experiencing - slow-downs - he is still on Single-Process FF. Add-ons that are not compatible for Multi-Process can disable Multi-Process on the current release. See below for more info. arewee10syet.com
