The left wants to control our thoughts.
So do the right... with beliefs such as: government has no role except in providing police protection, a strong military, and zero taxation for corporations and the rich... all poor people receiving benefits are lazy and are of inferior genetic stock (the moral imperative is for the strong to dominate the weak through market forces/elimination of regulations/environmental/occupational protection)... Women are inferior to men and probably shouldn't be in the workplace. Muslims are terrorists and should be banned and/or killed...

All the above is the mindset of the right and they want to form govt policy to shove their beliefs down the throats of everyone.

More correctly you should be saying the right wants wealth to be concentrated in the top 0.1% (even more than it is now) by rigging the system to favour the very wealthy.
