Thanks for your extremely interesting introduction, your presence on this thread will make it even better, and of all the threads I visit and contribute on, this one is the most rational and informative.

I, too, was involved in a parallel processing startup called Oryx from '86 to '91, when it folded. I worked on computer architecture and parallel-izing of algorithms. Since then I have worked on GPS constellation satellite hardware as a systems engineer.

From your original post, it is apparent that Charlie Trimble is both a visionary, and someone who inspires loyalty and confidence in his employees.
