NEWS (X2) -- Alberta property agreement finalized Marum Resources Inc (MMU) Shares issued 20897616 1998-01-06 close $0.2 Wednesday Jan 7 1998 See Caribgold Resources Inc (CG) News Release Mr Paul Zyla reports CaribGold recently signed final agreements with Marum Resources respecting an option that permits CaribGold, as operator, to earn up to a 50% interest in approximately 250,000 acres from Marum. The property is in an area of intense structural density near the Chinchaga fault which defines the northwestern edge of Alberta's Peace River Arch. The area contains numerous aeromagnetic, seismic and geochemical anomalies which are currently under assessment by CaribGold's diamond consultant. -----------ALSO------------------- Marum Resources Inc (MMU) - 800,000 unit private placement Shares issued 20897616 1998-01-05 close $0.205 Tuesday Jan 6 1998 Mr Arness Cordick reports The company plans to complete a private placement of 800,000 units at $0.15. Each unit will consist of one share and a warrant to acquire an additional share for two years at $0.20. *A significant portion of the placement will be subscribed for by insiders. Up to 75% of the units will be designated as flow through. Proceeds will be used for exploration activities and working capital.
