Right, hopping on Linux may not resolve the issue if the issue is Firefox or the Internet itself.

I did make one change this morning that is helping tremendously.

I run the free Avast Antivirus. It contains an Internet online security settings section. It keeps an icon on top right of Firefox as a plugin (I think). You can click on it and it will list how many trackers and other nonsense is on the webpage you are on. In doing a speedtest at speedtest.net, it listed like 28 trackers, social networks, and web analytics whatever that is lol. Went into settings and set it to block everything, I'm back to flying so far this morning. Seriously, bam! the pages come right up. Maybe dns is slow with all the hits from crap trying to load.
