A word or 2 of caution on chasing semi-land stocks. Demand for the latest, leading edge technology can be misleading and almost always is near a cycle peak. Double or over ordering occurs right before or at the peak. CEOs and analysts extrapolate the short term future based on faulty data, as the excessive ordering only becomes apparent in hindsight.
