Formula E. Are they still doing the dopey pit stop where they jump out of one car and get into another because the first one got a flat battery?

Maybe they have already had the amazing insight to swap the BATTERY instead of the passengers and car.

In real Formula 1 racing, they do pit stops in 7 seconds which is enough time to change all the wheels and refill the petrol tank. The Formula E electric car crew would probably take 10 seconds just to yank one battery out and shove one in but that would still be more interesting and technologically sensible than having two cars and somebody getting in and out of a car.

The silly Tesla "pit stop" involves queuing at a supercharger then taking half an hour to get a part charge, paying whatever the price of electricity happens to be at that time and paying for the land and equipment for that half hour. Hopeless.
