I know Flynn was an unregistered paid foreign agent that entertained kidnapping Gulen for Ergodan and lied to the FBI when his security clearance was renewed, but I hope we can let this slide. That's basically what Trump wanted. The FBI isn't supposed to be in the mercy business, but the justice business. If Trump wants to show mercy to Flynn, he can pardon him. But mercy to Flynn probably isn't the real issue ... it's keeping Flynn's mouth shut.
