The only real conclusion one can draw from this fact is that the DNC didn't safeguard essential data.

I read, months ago, that the Podesta phishing event was a routine one, where he forwarded the email to their IT person, who emailed him back and said, "Looks legit." A shocking remark, since I myself have seen tons of the identical phishing attack as it was described, and it should be apparent to any trained person given the long history of these incidents.

How the Republican leadership allowed this outrageous DNC failure to be turned on them is astonishing to me. Why it was never used by the Republicans during the campaign I'll never know.

Since all these Democrats are so fucking much smarter than Republicans, I'm not sure how THEY got sucked in by this claim, either. But they sure did.
