My partner and i gave tours to clients. Europeans or just somebody with a sedan. Lunch at Dead Horse then down Schaeffer, and out Potash.
At the bottom where schaefer meets potash is the junction of the White Rim trail. Dont go unless you have brass ones. 110 miles of the most rugged beautiful canyon country vistas, washes, obstacles, erosion, ledges, drop offs.
I have been around it a half dozen or so times. Twice on dirt bikes. One day trip, 110 miles, thought i was going to die both times.
Once we went in the middle of summer. Hot,dry...6% humidity. We hid from the sun. We were waiting for the full moon. What night....primal.
One more and i'll quit. Another time, we hiked out to the confluence. Split the 'Y' so to speak. Helluva view
The two most important supplies to take. Water, lots and lots of water. And spare tires....at least 2, preferably 3. Sharp edged rocks are brutal
