Hi Dmitry,

Adam West and the Batman series of the 1960's cast a very long shadow and had echoes throughout our pop mass cultural..

Julie Newmar... as Cat woman.

To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar
To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar is a 1995 film, starring Wesley Snipes, Patrick Swayze, and John Leguizamo. Other co-stars include Stockard Channing and Blythe Danner.

what always comes to my mind is the John Travolta - Uma Thurman dance competition scene in
the seminal movie "Pulp Fiction".

on the dance floor Travolta while dancing away does the Batdance move of taking his open index and middle finger on both hands across and away from his eyes.... which I guess is a symbolic unmasking type of body language.

When the Batman movie with Michael Keaton came out in the early summer of 1989.... I don't believe it
would have had the drawing power and become a box office dynamo without the 1960's series.
