You forgot New Zealand and Australia. Along with our own VA.

Those two are mixed systems and the private parts are growing. The VA doesn't count because it's a system for a single cohort within a country. You'd be hard pressed to find any useful models like Medicare for All outside the UK and Canada.

And they don't have to pay huge amounts for malpractice insurance, either. That can eat a big hole in income.

I've read recently that that has been exaggerated or mitigated and there's not as much opportunity to save money there as previously thought. Haven't investigated it, just looked at it enough to wonder what the real story is.

Also read recently that now most US doctors are no longer in private practice so there's movement.
