Why do you believe these rural hospitals were in existence prior to Medicaid expansion?

Do you not realize that your argument is that three of NOT expanding Medicaid killed rural health clinics? This claim begs the question, "How were these clinics functioning and surviving BEFORE ACA?"

And the answer is simple. Rural clinics are not being paid what they previously were by non-Medicaid accounts. So, even though Medicaid is a money loser for hospitals, the cash flow is more important now than before. If Obamacare had not screwed the collections up to begin with, there would not be a problem.
